Shocking Multi-Vehicle Accident on Foothill Boulevard Led to Injuries [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (February 23, 2025) – A multi-vehicle accident on Foothill Boulevard caused injuries to carjacking suspect and another victim Saturday evening.

Reports say that around 7:20 p.m., the suspect, a man in his 30s, stole a vehicle near the 14300 block of Foothill Boulevard.

While fleeing, he collided with at least three other vehicles, leaving one victim hospitalized in an unknown condition.

Authorities say that the suspect then attempted to escape on foot but ran into traffic and was struck. Paramedics transported him to the hospital, where he remains in an unknown condition. Authorities plan to book him for grand theft auto.

While officers investigated the crash, a separate incident occurred at 9:30 p.m. A suspected DUI driver ignored a police roadblock at Foothill Boulevard and Tyler Avenue and crashed into a parked LAPD cruiser. Officers were outside the vehicle at the time and were not injured. Police arrested the driver at the scene.
