Injuries Sustained in Multi-Car Crash on Highway 395 [Doyle, CA]

Lanes Closed after Pile-Up Collision near Herlong Junction

DOYLE, CA (November 21, 2018) – On Wednesday evening, numerous injuries were sustained in a multi-car crash on Highway 395.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 6:10 PM in the northbound lanes, near the Herlong Junction. Authorities recovered three vehicles from the scene, but a total of thirty vehicles pulled over to assist those who were involved in the accident.

Concerned civilians attempted to rescue the involved motorists until the arrival of emergency responders. Paramedics reported that multiple people were injured in the wreck, but the severity of the injuries was not disclosed.

All lanes were completely blocked due to the commotion and a clearing operation was ordered in the area by fire officials. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident to help identify the possible contributing factors. Additional information has yet to be released.
