Irvine, CA (May 20, 2023) On Friday afternoon, a multi-car collision on Jamboree Road sent 3 people to the hospital.

According to Irvine Police, the 4-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Jamboree Road and Main Street at around 2:20 p.m.

Reports say that 4 vehicles were involved in the collision. Officials say that a white SUV suffered major damages and rolled onto its side, while 3 other vehicles suffered rear-end damages.

Rescuers extricated a couple of people out of the wreckage. Medics transported a total of 3 people to the hospital, their current conditions are not revealed at this time.

Authorities closed Southbound Jamboree Road between Kelvin Avenue and Main Street for about two hours.
