Two Vehicles Involved in Collision near Gavin Canyon
STEVENSON RANCH, CA (February 3, 2019) – Motorists were hurt in a truck crash on southbound 5 Freeway, Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 8:00 PM, near Gavin Canyon. Based on their report, there were two vehicles involved in the incident. The parties were identified as a box truck and an SUV. The manner of the accident was not stated in the report.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They confirmed that there were injuries due to impact. Fortunately, the victims’ conditions were said to be non-life-threatening.
The authorities said that at least 100 gallons of diesel fuel were spilled. Cleaning and clearing took place in the area. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident. Additional information will be released following the conclusion of the investigation.
