Roadway Closed after Multiple-Vehicle Collision near Blaine Avenue Northeast

RENTON, WA (October 3, 2018) – Motorists were hurt in a multiple-car crash on Northeast 3rd Street, early Wednesday morning.

According to the Washington State Patrol troppers, the collision took place at approximately 8:00 AM near Blaine Avenue Northeast. Minor injuries were reported following the collision but it is unclear how many people were injured.

Preliminary investigation showed that four vehicles were involved in the accident, but the car descriptions were not available at this time.

Roads were closed on Northeast 3rd, just east of Interstate 405 for cleanup and preliminary investigation, but has since reopened. No further information regarding the circumstances leading up the collision have been released to the public. It is unclear whether drugs or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash.
