Motorist Injured in Fatal DUI Collision on Highway 50 [Sacramento, CA]

Sacramento, CA (March 25, 2022) On Thursday, a DUI collision on Highway 50 killed a woman and injured another motorist.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says that the fatal collision happened when a female driver on a Subaru hit a barricade of the freeway from the 59th Street offramp.

Moreover, reports say the black Subaru heading east flipped over and landed on the slow lane when another SUV struck the driver’s side.

Furthermore, the impact crushed the roof and door of the Subaru.

Officials say that the female driving the Subaru, died at the scene.

Meanwhile, rescuers took the other female motorist inside the white SUV to the hospital.

Additionally, a dog was also killed in the crash.

Officials closed all but one lane for several hours and reopened the highway at 7:30 a.m.
