Driver Hospitalized in Car-Pickup Collision on Highway 243 south of Banning

Banning, CA (January 03, 2021) On Friday, a 2-vehicle crash involving a car and a pickup on Highway 243  injured a motorist.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says the collision happened at about 12:30 p.m. about four miles south of Interstate 10.

Meanwhile, rescuers took one person to Banning’s San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital for minor injury treatments.

Consequently, traffic was delayed due to the wreckage being cleaned, traffic flow was restored around 1 p.m.

Lastly, authorities are still investigating the possible cause of the collision.
