Driver and 2 Others Injured in Collision on Airport Way and South College Street

Seattle, WA (January 09, 2021) On Friday, at about 10:50 a.m., a truck-SUV crash on Airport Way hospitalized a driver and injured 2 others.

Seattle Police responding to the scene describes the scene as a damaged Dodge Durango and a slightly damaged truck.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Durango needs to be extricated from his vehicle before rescuers could take him to the hospital.

Furthermore, the driver is in a safe condition. Also, 2 other people sustained minor injuries and were treated on the scene.

According to police, the Dodge was going south on the northbound lanes of Airport Way.

Moreover, the truck collided with a Seattle City Light utility truck, in turn, hits a power pole.

All lanes on Airport Way were impassible during the investigation but they have been reopened afterward.

When driving, it is important to follow all driving laws and the conditions of the road. If you see any vehicle or driver that looks dangerous, keep your distance. If you see a vehicle weaving in and out of the lanes, following too closely, or traveling at a higher rate of speed, move over a few lanes and get out of their way. Drive defensively to ensure the safety of surrounding vehicles, drivers, and pedestrians.
