1 Injured in Sparks Motorcycle Crash
SPARKS, NV (October 7, 2019) – A 71-year-old motorcyclist suffered injuries after a hit-and-run driver struck him on East York Way and Patrice Drive on October 5.
The authorities are looking for a white sedan with a younger Hispanic or Indian female driver with shoulder-length dark brown or black hair.
Officers responded to the 300 block of East York Way at Patrice Drive for the motorcycle crash. Upon their arrival, they located the man on the ground. Responders took him to Renown with several injuries. His condition and the extent of his injuries are still unknown as of this time.
Meanwhile, officers found out that a mid-2000’s white sedan made a U-Turn from Patrice Drive onto East York Way.
The motorcycle driver rode east on York Way and hit the white sedan’s driver’s side. The white sedan reportedly fled the scene without stopping to help or to report the injured motorcycle driver.
The Sparks Police Department encouraging the public to identify the suspect and suspect vehicle.
Meanwhile, the Secret Witness offers a $250 reward for information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
