MADERA, CA (June 2, 2019) – A motorcyclist sustained severe injuries in a crash on southbound Highway 99, on Sunday morning.
 
According to reports, the collision took place around 11:08 AM. Dispatchers arrived just south of Avenue 11 shortly after.
 
Based on an initial report, a black SUV and a white SUV were cutting off vehicles prior to the collision. This eventually caused the crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle.
 
Paramedics arrived for needed medical attention. They reported the rider sustained life-threatening injuries.
 
The authorities worked to clear the area for a brief time, but it has since reopened.
 
No further details were released, as the incident is still under investigation at this time.
