1 Hospitalized after Clovis Motorcycle Crash on Shaw Avenue

 
CLOVIS, CA (May 4, 2020) – Late Saturday morning, a motorcyclist sustained injuries in an accident involving a car on Shaw Avenue.
 
According to the authorities, the incident occurred just before 11:00 a.m. on Shaw Avenue. Due to the crash, the authorities closed Shaw Avenue between Minewawa and DeWitt for multiple hours.
 
The officers revealed that a female driver of a white sedan turned in front of a man in his 20s who was riding a motorcycle. Due to the impact of the crash, the motorcycle rider sustained major injuries and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center.
 
The detectives are still determining whether speed played a role in the crash. However, they already ruled out drugs or alcohol as factors in the injury collision.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities also confirmed that the sedan’s female driver sustained minor injuries.
