Motorcyclist Robert Tellez Dies in 170th Street East Crash [Lake Los Angeles, CA]

Lake Los Angeles, CA (August 02, 2021) – On Friday, 41-year-old Robert Tellez of Palmdale, dies, while 71-year-old Martha Gonzalez of Lancaster, was involved in a motorcycle crash on 170th Street East.

The fatal motorcycle crash took place at about 8:21 p.m. at the intersection with Avenue N-12.

Officers said Tellez was riding his northbound 2001 Suzuki GSX-R1000 when it crashed with the right side of a 2013 Honda Civic that was making a left turn onto Avenue N-12 from southbound 170th Street East.

The force of the crash threw Tellez from his bike and he died at the accident scene.

Meanwhile, Gonzalez, the Civic’s driver, was not injured in the crash.

Officers do not suspect alcohol or drugs to be a factor in this fatal incident. ,
