Motorcyclist Loses Life in Merle Haggard Drive Semi-Truck Crash [Oildale, CA]

Oildale, CA (July 24, 2021) – On Friday, a motorcyclist died in Merle Haggard Drive semi-truck crash.

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a semi in Oildale early this morning.

The fatal crash happened at around 12:15 a.m. at the intersection with Airport Drive.

Officers said the big rig was traveling the wrong way on Merle Haggard Drive and hit the rider. 

Consequently, the semi-truck went to the center median and struck multiple trees.

Meanwhile, the involved semi-truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
