CHP Investigates Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Gardner Avenue in Woodcrest

Woodcrest, CA (June 12, 2025) – A motorcyclist died in a crash on Gardner Avenue early Thursday morning. 

The crash occurred shortly after 6 a.m. at the intersection of Gardner and Krameria avenues, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

CHP officials reported that the motorcyclist, whose identity remains undisclosed, struck a Toyota 4Runner at an undetermined speed. 

Authorities are still investigating the precise circumstances surrounding the crash. 

The impact caused the motorcyclist to become trapped beneath the SUV.

Paramedics from the Riverside County Fire Department arrived within minutes and pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. 

No injuries were reported among the occupants of the Toyota.

Officers questioned the SUV driver at the scene but did not take them into custody. 

Authorities shut down the intersection for more than three hours to conduct a preliminary investigation and remove the wreckage.
