Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Live Oak Canyon Road in Trabuco Canyon
TRABUCO CANYON, CA (August 24, 2019) – A motorcyclist died in a traffic collision Saturday night in Trabuco Canyon.
The crash reported just after 6:00 p.m. in the 19900 block of Live Oak Canyon Road at Monastery Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle and a bicycle collided for unknown reasons. After the crash, the motorcycle slammed into a tree.
The motorcyclist, whose identity is not immediately available, died at the scene. In addition, the Orange County coroner’s office arrived to the scene at 6:40 p.m., according to the CHP.
Officials issued a SigAlert at 6:28 p.m., temporarily shutting down Live Oak Canyon Road in both directions for the investigation.
