Rider Dies in Highway 1 Crash With Box Truck in Moss Landing

 
MOSS LANDING, CA (January 14, 2020) — A motorcycle perished Sunday afternoon in a crash with a box truck on Highway 1 near Moss Landing Road.
 
The fatal crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. It is unclear what drove the accident in the first place or whether anyone inside the box truck suffered injuries.
 
Due to the incident, Highway 1 South traffic had to be diverted onto Moss Landing Road as California Highway Patrol officers investigated the scene.
