Robin Abington Dead in Oroville Motorcycle Accident on Long Bar Road
OROVILLE, CA (March 25, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, Robin Abington, 54, died in a head-on crash on Long Bar Road and Canyon Highlands Drive.
The motorcycle crash occurred at about 2:00 p.m. on Long Bar Road and Canyon Highlands Drive.
According to the CHP, the motorcyclist headed south on Long Bar Road and Canyon Highlands Drive. As the rider tried to move past a car in front of him, he went over a double yellow line. Afterward, a Honda pickup truck going north struck the motorcyclist.
Medical crews responded to the scene and performed CPR on the motorcyclist. However, Abington succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Meanwhile, the authorities said that the pickup truck driver didn’t suffer any injuries.
