Police Searching for 2 Hit-And-Run Drivers After Crash on Devonshire Street in Granada Hills

Granada Hills, CA (October 18, 2024) -On Thursday, a motorcyclist died in a hit-and-run crash on Devonshire Street.

Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating two hit-and-run drivers involved in a fatal motorcycle accident in Granada Hills.

According to a police statement, the motorcyclist was speeding eastbound on Devonshire Street and failed to stop at a red light as he neared Louise Avenue, resulting in a collision with a vehicle traveling northbound on Louise Avenue. 

The impact ejected the motorcyclist into the westbound lanes of Devonshire Street, where he was struck by two oncoming vehicles.

The first vehicle is described as a white SUV, and the second is a white sedan. Police reported that both drivers fled the scene without stopping to identify themselves or offer aid, as required by law. 

The motorcyclist, a man in his early 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released, pending notification of his family.

The city of Los Angeles has offered a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the resolution of a fatal hit-and-run case.
