1 Dead in Las Vegas Motorcycle Accident on Las Vegas Boulevard and Lake Mead Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (April 27, 2021) – Monday night, a motorcyclist died in a crash on Las Vegas Boulevard and Lake Mead Boulevard.
The incident involving a motorcycle and a truck happened at around 7:30 p.m. Moreover, it occurred at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Lake Mead Boulevard.
According to the investigators, the motorcycle headed south on Las Vegas Boulevard N. However, the rider failed to yield at the red light at E. Lake Mead Boulevard. As a result, the rider crashed into a pickup truck also crossing the intersection.
Medical responders declared the rider dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the truck driver stayed at the crash scene. Also, the authorities do not believe that impairment and speed played a role in the truck.
However, they believe that speed may be a factor for the motorcyclist.
