1 Dead in Fresno Motorcycle Accident on Blackstone Avenue and Herndon Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (February 6, 2022) – Saturday night, a motorcyclist died in a crash on Blackstone Avenue and Herndon Avenue.
 
The incident occurred at about 4:45 p.m. when a motorcycle crashed with a truck making a U-turn. Moreover, the crash happened on Blackstone Avenue and Herndon Avenue.
 
Upon the officers’ arrival, they located a man in his early-to-mid 20s with major injuries. They found him next to his motorcycle in the middle of the street. Then, an officer started performing CPR on the motorcyclist. However, the paramedics later declared that person dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the investigation revealed that the truck driver tried to make a U-turn from northbound Blackstone. However, the driver misjudged how fast the motorcycle approached him in a southbound lane.
 
As a result, the rider crashed into the passenger side of the truck and was ejected from his bike.
 
Moreover, the truck driver suffered no injuries in the crash and has been cooperating with officers. Also, the officers ruled out drugs or alcohol as a factor in the crash.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
