Two-Vehicle Collision Near Kietzke Lane and Taylor Street Injures Motorcyclist
Reno, NV (July 6, 2020)– A motorcyclist was injured following a rear-end collision near Kietzke Lane and Taylor Street on Friday afternoon.
The Reno Police Department responded to the scene near Kietzke Lane and Taylor Street on July 3 at about 3 p.m.
The investigation showed that the motorcycle stopped to give way for a pedestrian. However, the vehicle at the back did not notice that the motorcycle had stopped. Thus, the vehicle rear-ended the motorcycle.
Emergency personnel took the motorcyclist to an area hospital for treatments. As of the moment, the severity of the injuries was not specified.
Furthermore, the extent of the collision prompted the closure of the northbound lane of Kietzke Lane. The lane was closed for about three hours but has reopened.
