Motorcyclist Hospitalized, Jose Guadalupe Venancio Booked in Napa DUI Crash

 
Napa, CA (July 02, 2021) – On Tuesday, a motorcyclist was hospitalized while the authorities arrested 35-year-old Jose Guadalupe Venancio in a DUI crash on Lincoln Avenue.
 
The accident took place a about 6:30 p.m. at the Yajome Street intersection.
 
The motorcyclist sustained a severe cut to his right hand and road rash. Rescuers took the victim to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
 
Meanwhile, the involved driver was. seen leaving the scene and running east on Central Avenue. He abandoned his vehicle on Yajome Street.
 
The authorities detained Venancio on Central Avenue. They took him to the Queen before booking into the Napa County jail.
 
Then on Wednesday, officers withheld Venancio on suspicion of causing injury by driving under the influence, as well as leaving the scene of an injury accident.
 
Also, officers said he was on probation after a previous DUI arrest, had a suspended driver’s license, and was on supervised release following an arrest on suspicion of domestic violence, according to Medina.
