Police Investigate Crash on Holly Ave NE in Albuquerque

Albuquerque, NM (January 2, 2025) – Motorcyclist sustained injuries in a crash on Holly Ave NE involving another vehicle.

Shortly after 7:50 PM on January 2, 2025, a serious injury crash occurred at Holly Ave NE and San Pedro Dr NE. 

Reports indicate a motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle. A witness stated the rider was down and reportedly not wearing a helmet.

A deputy from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, who was nearby, immediately responded to the crash. Additional officers from the Albuquerque Police Department and emergency personnel from Albuquerque Fire Rescue also arrived on the scene. 

Police Service Aides from the Albuquerque Police Department were requested to assist in blocking off traffic in the area.

The motorcyclist’s condition remains unknown at this time. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

North and southbound traffic on San Pedro between Holly and Paseo Del Norte has been closed. 

Police are redirecting northbound vehicles on San Pedro into turn bays for the McDonald’s, Mister Car Wash, and Chick-Fil-A parking lots. Individuals exiting businesses on Holly should consider heading east toward Louisiana.
