SAN FRANCISCO, CA (August 9, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured following a traffic crash on 80 Freeway at 5th Street Friday evening.
 
A motorcycle rider was heading westbound on 80 Freeway when they collided with a blue Toyota Matrix near the 5th Street off-ramp, the CHP said.
 
Shortly after 7:39 p.m., officials arrived at the location and found the rider down in the roadway.
 
Paramedics transported the patient to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of possible broken leg and minor abrasions.
 
All traffic was stopped near the crash site as the investigation and clean-up efforts continued.
