Motorcyclist Injured in Crash at American Canyon Road and Canyon Road [VALLEJO, CA]

Motorcycle and Car Collide on American Canyon Road in Vallejo, Injuries Reported

 
VALLEJO, CA (May 22, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured following a traffic collision late Wednesday evening in Vallejo.
 
The collision happened around 10:42 p.m., on westbound American Canyon Road. First responders arrived just east of Canyon Road shortly after.
 
According to reports, a white Ford Fusion and a sports motorcycle collided for unknown reasons. The impact sent the bike in the middle of the roadway.
 
Paramedics responded found the rider on the ground with unspecified injuries upon arrival. The victim was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
 
Furthermore, the motorcycle was towed away from the crash site due to the extent of its damage. There has been no update on the victim’s current condition.
 
The westbound lanes were closed during the investigation, but have since reopened.
