Hit-and-Run Vehicle and Motorcycle Accident Near 7th Avenue

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (September 17, 2019) – A motorcyclist suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Nisqualli Road on early Tuesday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident near 7th Avenue happened just after 6:00 PM. Based on a report from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Victorville Station, a red Honda VRF800 motorcycle collided with a vehicle that fled the scene after the accident. Police described it as a 1996-2000 silver Honda Civic hatchback without a bumper and a headlight.
 
The rider remained conscious and alert when the paramedics arrived. They transported the victim via AMR ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
 
The road shut down while the rescue operation took place. Anyone with information is asked to call the Victorville Police Department at 760-241-2911.
 
An investigation is currently ongoing to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect. However, additional information has yet to be released.
