KINGS COUNTY, CA (April 6, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, a motorcyclist suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Excelsior Avenue and 19th Avenue.
 
According to the CHP, the incident occurred at about 1:30 p.m. Reports confirmed that a gray Toyota Tundra failed to yield at a stop sign at Excelsior Avenue and 19th Avenue.
 
At the same time, two motorcycle riders traveled with the right of way and were driving across the intersection.
 
The first rider crashed into the front side of the truck. Meanwhile, the second rider managed to avoid the crash.
 
Afterward, the truck driver lost control and the truck overturned.
 
According to some witnesses, the female truck driver went out of the truck and fled from the scene. Apparently, another vehicle picked her up.
 
Meanwhile, responders airlifted the motorcyclist, a man in his 70’s, to CRMC.
 
The woman remains at large and will face charges on felony hit and run and other possible charges.
