Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt after Fallbrook Falling Tree Incident
FALLBROOK, CA (March 12, 2019) – A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after a falling tree accident in Fallbrook on Friday, March 8.
According to North County Fire Protection District officials, at about 2:10 p.m., a tree fell onto a passing motorcyclist near West Elder Street and South Mission Road.
Officers airlifted the rider to Palomar Medical Center because of life-threatening head injuries. California Highway Patrol officials said that the man is a 41-year-old Vista resident who was riding a 2013 Harley Davidson Soft Tail. As of late Friday, he is still listed in critical condition.
The accident affected the roadway for approximately one and a half hours during the investigation.
