CBP Agent Involved in Crash on Otay Mesa Road in San Diego

San Diego, CA (November 17, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, a 56-year-old man suffered serious injuries in a crash on Otay Mesa Road.

The crash in San Diego happened after 4 p.m. on November 16.

San Diego Police said the victim was traveling south on Otay Mesa Road with a green light when a 44-year-old on-duty CBP agent traveling north turned into the motorcycle’s path.

The victim’s motorcycle collided with the car’s right rear door.

EMS rushed the motorcyclist to the hospital. He suffered a fractured pelvis, dislocated femur, fractured right patella, and pain in both upper arms.

 SDPD said alcohol and/or drugs were not a factor in this collision.
