Injuries Reported in San Diego Motorcycle Accident on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Kearny Villa Road
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 25, 2023) – Monday night, a 53-year-old motorcyclist suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Kearny Villa Road.
The incident occurred just after 11:00 p.m. on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Kearny Villa Road.
According to reports, the motorcyclist rode a 2005 Triumph motorcycle west on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard at Kearny Villa Road on a green light. Then, a northbound driver north on Kearny Villa Road hit him and then fled the crash scene.
Meanwhile, responders took the motorcyclist to a hospital with fractured ribs and a fractured left ankle. Officers noted that his injuries were non-life-threatening.
Also, the authorities haven’t determined whether the hit-and-run driver fled the crash scene.
Moreover, they described the vehicle as a white Nissan, although the model of the vehicle was not released.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
