Alderson Road Accident Injures Male Motorcyclist, Truck Driver Arrested

 
Blaine, WA (May 15, 2021) – On Friday, a male motorcyclist in his 40’s was injured in a big rig crash on Alderson Road.
 
The accident happened at 4:15 p.m. at the Blaine Road intersection.
 
Reports said the motorcyclist northbound on Blaine Road preparing to turn west on Alderson Road. When at the same time, a truck turning from Alderson Road northbound on Blaine Road failed to see the motorcyclist.
 
As a result, the two vehicles crashed at the intersection.
 
When officers arrived they found a patient trapped underneath the front of a semi-truck. The rescuers used hydraulic jacks to lift the truck’s front axle to extricate the patient.
 
Immediately, emergency crews rushed him to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center via advanced life support (ALS) protocols. He suffered a leg injury in the accident.
 
Meanwhile, police said an infraction will be issued to the truck driver for failure to yield the right of way.
