1 Injured in Reno Motorcycle Accident
RENO, NV (July 24, 2019) – A motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries in an accident on Wrondel Way on July 23.
The incident occurred at about 1:13 p.m. on Wrondel Way and East Grove Street. According to Reno Police, the motorcyclist rode at a high speed in the southbound lane when he struck a turning vehicle from northbound Wrondel Way into a driveway.
Responders transported the 18-year-old rider to a hospital. Meanwhile, his identity remains unavailable due to the pending family notification.
Moreover, the vehicle driver remained at the scene and helped with the investigation.
Authorities shut down Wrondel Way between Grove and Apple Streets while police investigate.
