Rider Hospitalized After 2-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 15 in Barstow

Barstow, CA (June 13, 2025) – A motorcyclist sustained injuries in a crash on Interstate 15 on Thursday morning. 

The collision happened at approximately 7:14 a.m. on June 13, 2025, on northbound Interstate 15 near the Lenwood Road exit. 

The incident involved a motorcycle and at least one other vehicle.

CHP officers and Barstow Fire Department personnel responded to the scene, where they found the motorcyclist lying motionless on the roadway. 

CHP officers blocked the two right lanes to secure the area while emergency crews attended to the injured rider.

Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital. The extent of the rider’s injuries remains unknown.

Authorities reopened all lanes shortly after 8:20 a.m.

As of now, officials have not determined the cause of the crash. The California Highway Patrol’s Barstow Office will continue investigating the incident.
