Motorcyclist Dies in Crash on Highway 84 [Woodside, CA]

Rider Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Highway 84

 
WOODSIDE, CA (July 19, 2019) – A motorcyclist died in a crash on Highway 84, Friday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place about a half-mile west of Portola Road at approximately 4:50 PM. Based on an initial report, the victim’s motorcycle crashed into a car. It was not yet clear what caused the incident.
 
A coroner who arrived to the area declared the victim dead at the scene. Police did not release the victim’s identification.
 
An investigation is currently handled by the San Mateo County sheriff’s office. No other details were released.
