3 Injured in Federal Way Motorcycle Accident near Pacific Highway
FEDERAL WAY, CA (June 3, 2020) – Sunday afternoon, authorities arrested a motorcyclist after an injury crash near Pacific Highway.
According to reports, a motorcyclist went off the road and crashed into a crowd of peaceful protesters in Federal Way.
The incident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. near Pacific Highway South and South 320th Street.
Two women and one infant were hit by the motorcycle.
Furthermore, the rider in his late 20s was trying to ride it standing on the seat. Federal Way Police Cmdr. Kurt Schwan added that the rider hit a group of people at the 1600 block of South 320th Street.
The police revealed that the injured were participants of a protest organized by 200-300 people.
Responders treated and transported the three victims to St. Francis Hospital as a precautionary measure.
Schwan added that the police booked the uninjured motorcyclist for reckless driving.
Federal Way Accident Aftermath and Pending Investigation
The motorcyclist, who was not injured, was arrested and booked into jail for reckless driving, Schwan said.
The crash remains under investigation.
