Motorcyclists Seriously Injured after Spokane Valley High-Speed Crash on Appleway Boulevard
SPOKANE VALLEY, WA (September 30, 2019) – Two riders sustained injuries in a high-speed crash on Appleway Boulevard on Wednesday, September 25.
According to first responders, two motorcycle riders failed to negotiate a curve and jumping a curve on Appleway Boulevard. This caused them to be ejected from their bikes. Investigators said they have not yet determined if the two were racing.
First responders responded at the scene and gave medical assistance to both riders. Then they transported them to the hospital in critical condition.
Spokane Police are still investigating the incident. They plan to interview the two other riders who were with the two injured riders when the accident occurred.
Officers shut down Appleway Boulevard from University Road to Farr Road.
