Motorcycle Rider Dies in First Street Traffic Collision [Lincoln, CA]

Lincoln, CA (April 11, 2022) – On Saturday, a motorcycle rider sustained fatal injuries in a First Street traffic collision.

Officers responded to the crash scene at about 8:45 a.m. at the intersection with Hollingsworth Drive.

According to the investigators, Harley Davidson motorcycle was eastbound on First Street from O Street and a Toyota truck was westbound on First Street from L Street.

The Toyota turned left onto Hollingsworth Drive crossing the path of the motorcycle. The motorcyclist attempted to avoid the accident but struck the Toyota’s right side.

Immediately, the paramedics arrived and provided extensive lifesaving efforts, however, the motorcyclist died at the crash scene. 

The Toyota occupants did not sustain injuries from the collision. 

Meanwhile, the Lincoln Police Department is investigating this fatal accident.
