Harley Driver Killed in Tragic Traffic Collision on Uvas Road
Morgan Hill, CA (November 24, 2023) On Wednesday afternoon, a 68-year-old male motorcyclist died and a 60-year-old female passenger was hurt in a horrific motorcycle crash on Watsonville Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the tragic traffic collision happened around 2:45 p.m. at the intersection with Uvas Road.
Reports say that the man was driving an eastbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign causing a collision with a southbound Toyota Camry.
Officials say that the Harley struck the front of the Toyota, ejecting both the motorcyclist and his female passenger off the bike.
Authorities says that the 68-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, while his passenger was airlifted to the hospital with major injuries.
Meanwhile, the Toyota driver escaped injuries.
CHP is investigating the probable cause of the tragic collision and have not released further information.
