San Antonio, TX (August 1, 2024) – San Antonio police reported that a motorcycle crash on Bulverde Parkway late Thursday night killed an 18-year-old.

The crash occurred just after 11 p.m. in the 3700 block of Bulverde Parkway, at the intersection with Bulverde Road, not far from Evans Road.

Police said the teenager crashed his motorcycle into a blue sedan and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The preliminary police report indicates that the victim was riding northbound on Bulverde Road when his motorcycle collided with a blue sedan traveling southbound, which was turning left onto Bulverde Parkway.

Police added that the sedan driver was not intoxicated and was taken to a hospital as a precaution.

The exact cause of the crash is still unclear, and SAPD has not disclosed whether the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.

The San Antonio Police Department, San Antonio Fire Department, and EMS all responded to the incident.

Authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased teenager.
