RICHMOND, CA (September 11, 2019) – A rider suffered injuries after a motorcycle accident on 80 Freeway westbound on Wednesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened just west of Central Avenue at approximately 7:24 AM. Based on a report, the victim’s motorcycle collided with a dark gray Honda Civic.
 
The paramedics reported that the rider was found lying down on the roadway. They took him to Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center for complaints of pain to both legs, neck, and collarbone.
 
The No. 4 lane was closed while rescue and clearing operations were performed in the area.
