Police Investigate Auto-Pedestrian Crash on Skyway and Honey Run Road in Butte County

Butte County, CA (November 26, 2022) – Friday afternoon, a mother and her child sustained injuries in a crash on Skyway and Honey Run Road.

The crash in Butte County happened around 4:50 p.m. on November 25.

Paradise Police said a woman walked across the crosswalk at the intersection with her child in a stroller when a white SUV turned left from Honey Run Road onto Skyway and struck her. 

The driver of the SUV reportedly told officers they did not see the mother or the stroller as they were in their blind spot.

The pedestrian and her child both received minor injuries in the collision.

Investigators said drugs or alcohol are not suspected to have been involved.

Further investigation is ongoing.
