69-Year-Old Moses Domingo Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision near South Lamb in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (April 22, 2020) – Monday afternoon, a 69-year-old man named Moses Domingo was killed, and many others were injured in a 10-vehicle collision near East Sahara.
The incident occurred in the east valley around 3:40 p.m., on April 20. Dispatchers arrived to the area shortly after. According to reports, there were at least 10 vehicles involved in the collision.
Police later confirmed that the victim was driving a southbound 1993 Toyota Camry. In the opposite direction, ten vehicles were waiting for a red traffic signal to turn green. There, the Toyota driver was unable to avoid striking several stopped cars.
The elderly man and the 19-year-old driver of a 2017 Honda HRV suffered serious injuries as a result of the impact.
Both victims were later rushed to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center Trauma for further treatment. Due to the extent of his injuries, the elderly Toyota driver was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Moreover, officers say there were at least 16 passengers involved in the collision. Metro reported that 2 of them sustained minor injuries while others remained uninjured.
At this time, the investigation remains ongoing.
