MORENO VALLEY, CA – One Killed in Rollover Crash on 60 Freeway at Gilman Springs Road

Evening Rollover Crash on 60 Freeway in Moreno Valley Kills Driver

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (January 12, 2019) – One person was killed following a rollover crash Saturday evening on 60 Freeway in Moreno Valley.
 
The fatal crash happened around 8:16 p.m. on the westbound direction of the freeway, about a mile East of Gilman Springs Road.
 
CHP officials said that a vehicle went about 75 feet down an embankment where it landed on its side. Responding fire crews needed a haul system to access the vehicle.
 
The unidentified driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A coroner’s personnel was notified to conduct a full report.
 
A dog was found inside the vehicle and an Animal Control was called to assist.
 
An investigation is ongoing to determine the ultimate cause of the crash and factors involved.
