MOJAVE, CA – One Killed in Car Crash on Highway 14 at Silver Queen Road

Early Christmas Day Crash in Mojave Turns Deadly

 
MOJAVE, CA (December 25, 2018) – One person was killed following a car accident early Christmas morning in Mojave, CHP officials said.
 
The crash happened around 4:52 a.m. on southbound Highway 14 at Silver Queen Road.
 
According to the Mojave Area CHP, a call came into the dispatch center concerning a vehicle that went off the highway onto the right shoulder.
 
Kern County firefighters responded to the scene as well as Hall Ambulance and confirmed the fatality of the accident. The identity of the deceased was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
 
The Kern County Coroners office was notified at 5:17 a.m. AV Towing out of Lancaster was also requested to remove the wreckage for evidence.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the incident to determine the ultimate cause and factors involved.
