Wrong-Way Crash on Highway 63 Seriously Injures Moberly Man
Moberly, MO (May 23, 2025) – A 53-year-old Moberly man was hurt and hospitalized on Thursday after a horrific collision on Highway 63.
According to the MSHP, the shocking crash happened in the northbound lanes of Highway 63 near Highway 24.
Reports say that the Moberly man sustained serious injuries after driving his 2005 Buick Lacrosse collided head-on with a 2020 Ford Escape driven by a 72-year-old Kirksville woman.
Debris from the crash also struck a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 67-year-old man from Armstrong.
Emergency responders transported the Moberly man to University Hospital, while the Kirksville woman went to Moberly Regional Medical Center in a private vehicle.
Both the Buick and the Ford were totaled, and the Chevrolet suffered minor damage.
