Eric Kinser Arrested, Mitchell Wade and Cindi Zerovs Dead in Crash on Pacific Coast Highway

 
Sunset Beach, CA (January 20, 2021) – On Tuesday, police arrested 35-year-old Eric Kinser of Sunset Beach in a fatal DUI crash on Pacific Coast Highway.
 
Authorities responded to the fatal accident scene at about 6:45 p.m., by Warner Avenue.
 
When they arrived, they located three vehicles with extensive damage in the southbound lanes of PCH.
 
After the investigation, police revealed Kinser drove a white 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck and crossed over the center median into southbound lanes of traffic.
 
As a result, his vehicle crashed head-on with a silver 1999 Toyota Solara, driven by 19-year-old Newport Beach man Mitchell Wade.
 
Then, his vehicle collided with a white 2012 Lexus RX350 driven by 71-year old Huntington Beach woman, Cindi Zerovs.
 
Unfortunately, the authorities pronounced the Lexus driver dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, responders rushed the Toyota driver to UCI Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
 
Responders also took a 45-year old female passenger from the Lexus to OC Global Medical Center.
 
Lastly, rescuers transported Kinser to UCI Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Then, authorities arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
