Early Morning Collision with Semi Truck in Mission Viejo Badly Injures Two

 
MISSION VIEJO, CA (November 16, 2018) – Two people were critically injured following a traffic collision with a semi truck early Friday morning Mission Viejo.
 
The collision happened around 2:17 a.m. on 5 Freeway at Oso Parkway. According to the California Highway Patrol, the semi truck and a blue Toyota Corolla collided for unknown reasons. Five people were reportedly trapped inside the car, two of them sustained serious injuries.
 
The badly injured patients were taken to a hospital and listed in critical conditions. Their identities were not immediately available.
 
It is unclear if drugs and/or alcohol have played a role in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
