Mirtha Rivera Killed in Pedestrian Crash at South Riverside Avenue [Rialto, CA]

Mirtha Rivera Fatally Struck by Car at South Riverside and East San Bernardino Avenues

 
RIALTO, CA (November 12, 2019)—An 81-year-old woman died in a pedestrian accident last Tuesday evening at South Riverside and San Bernardino avenues.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash took place around 6:23 p.m.
 
CHP officers reported that 81-year-old Mirtha Rivera had been walking near the intersection when a driver struck her. Paramedics transported Rivera to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.
 
Reports did not indicate any details concerning the motorists involved; however, the Rialto Police Department is investigating this case further.
