1 Injured and Miranda Gramlich Dead Following Florin Road DUI Crash

Sacramento County, CA (February 02, 2021) – On Sunday, 32-year-old Miranda Gramlich of Wilton died in a DUI crash on Florin Road.

The fatal accident took place before 10:30 p.m. at the intersection with Bradshaw Road in a rural area, a few miles east of Highway 99.

Gramlich was traveling west on Florin Road at an estimated speed of about 55 mph. At the same time, a 37-year-old Sacramento man was driving a 2012 Toyota Tundra at the same speed, heading south, approaching Florin Road.

Furthermore, witnesses told authorities that the pickup had a green light to enter the intersection, while Gramlich’s vehicle did not stop at the red light.

As a result, the pickup’s front crashed into the Corolla’s passenger side.

Subsequently, the Corolla was tossed onto Bradshaw Road. On the other hand, the pickup overturned at least once, and rested on its driver’s side in a dirt field southwest of the intersection.

The pickup driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident and sustained minor injuries.

Right away, the rescuers took the man by ambulance to a hospital.

Unfortunately, Gramlich died at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt when the accident happened.

Moreover, CHP believes alcohol or drugs were a factor in this accident.
