NEWHALL PASS, CA (May 24, 2022) – Saturday morning, Miguel Rivara died in a motorcycle crash on 5 Freeway and Balboa Boulevard.
 
The incident happened at about 5:15 a.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway, north of Balboa Boulevard.
 
According to reports, 22-year-old motorcyclist, Miguel Rivara, died after the crash with a semi-truck.
 
“The crash involved a semi-truck and a Yamaha motorcycle,” said Officer Josh Greengard, spokesperson for the CHP
